:lol:

Hello everyone, I just installed the AI B-52 from Alphasim but they are so "clean", not even a small smoke behind!! That's definitively not realistic!!

I need smoke behind my BUFF!! Does anyone have the coordinates to add smoke to this aircraft??

Thanks!!

[smokesystem]
smoke.0 = 29, 0, -59.5, b52smoke
smoke.1 = 10.5, 0, -33.5, b52smoke
smoke.2 = 29, 0, 59.5, b52smoke
smoke.3 = 10.5, 0, 33.5, b52smoke

Hello,

I've also installed these AI Aircrafts with Grahan King repaint. They look very nice.

Have somebody any realistic Flightplans for these aircrafts ? (Barksdale, Minot...with trip to Guam (andersen), Diego Garcia, UK...)

I've tried to write some flight plan, but without success...

Many Thanks

Sorry for my bad English. I hope you understand me.

Where can I find these AI B-52 please.
The only B-52 I can find on the Alphasim site are the payware fully flyable.

I think that it comes with the payware package, a sort of bonus.

Its not that good as an AI I'm afraid. I'd love a proper AI BUFF! On day perhaps :wink:

Hey,
If you're looking for flightplans for the B-52, I just uploaded plans for Barksdale and Minot at Avsim.
Search for kbad.zip or kmib.zip.

Thanks for thes FP.

I've some problem with my Alpha Sim AI B-52's.

The G model is visible in FS2004 (for player and in AI)
but the H model is invisible in FS2004 (both for player and in AI).

All is perfectly installed. In AI traffic, the name of aircraft a good in the flightplan.

Somebody have the samed problem ? Thanks to help me.

After a good night, i've a look to my problem.

I notice when i've installed Graham King texture, the name of Air file in aircraft.cfg was modified from original... I changed it and it work fine.

Thanks.

I now have another problem.

All my Ai B-52 appear good in FS world.

But when starting, the nose go hight (only the main gear rest on the ground.. the nose gear go to sky).... and the aircraft roll on itself and after disapear into the ground... lol

Whats this problem ???

No clue as to why.

Why did you post this identical message to 2 different threads?
That's a rhetorical question.

I would imagine its an FDE problem. I've had that happen when the CG and/or the reference datum position were not correct. I don't even pretend to be an expert on this, but it might be a place to start.

Good luck, :)

foufure,

This type of back flip problem at startup is usually caused by an aircraft.cfg file error where the longitudinal locations for the landing gear contact points and/or the empty weight CG are incorrect and improperly positioned relative to one another. If the empty weight CG position for an AI aircraft with tricycle landing gear is too far behind the main gears longitudinal position the AI aircraft will do just what you describe at startup.

foufure,
I remembered that there was an error in the Alphasim B52 AI fde, I did a search and found that the following line needs to be amended in the aircraft.cfg :-
empty_weight_CG_position = -12, 0, 0 // (feet) longitudinal, lateral, vertical distance from specified datum
to
empty_weight_CG_position = 0, 0, 0 // (feet) longitudinal, lateral, vertical distance from specified datum

Try that.

Also in answer to your earlier question, I don't use any I am waiting for a proper AI one.
