Sun n Fun is the second largest General Aviation sponsored airshow and aviation gathering in the United States, second only in size to Airventure in Oshkosh every year. It is held in Lakeland Florida and usually has great weather for the nearly week long event.

Yesterday a severe line of thunderstorms raged across Florida and left major damage in their wake. This video is from the airshow when the storm hit:

Millions of dollars in wrecked aircraft alone.

Heartbreaking stuff Looked like the remnants of a Libyan air base. So sad to see such beautiful aircraft in such a condition. A sure indicator that we are only tenants to Mother Nature.
