A question to the F-15 experts out there:

What is that angular thing right below the canopy between pilot and WSO?

I am going with a Low Tech answer and saying it's a step for the WSO. Is there one on the otherside?

I thought the SG variant was equipped with front canards that extend and retract?

I must admit that I have never heard of that. The only canard version that I knew about was the Agile Eagle, which had fixed canards.

Ray,

I was going to suggest that maybe that F-15SG pilot had stopped at one of those old A&W Root Beer stands for lunch and the car (plane) hop waitress had forgot to remove the tray. :shock: :lol:
