Matt,
Scenery looks great. Please tell me what B-52s you are using. Are they AI models?

Thanks for the compliments.
Keith, the B-52s are the alphasim ai b-52s. The textures and flightplans I found on avsim.

The Housing areas really kill framerates on this though. Prior to adding housing, I was getting around 60FPS, now I get an average of 15FPS. I was gonna make some simple custom houses but my textures were crap. If anyone would like to help with that, I would really appreciate the help.

You have to put all houses into one scene. This will minimize the number of drawcalls and thereby improve the performance.
The same applies to trees. They will also kill the frame rate if they are all placed as single objects.
I can highly recommend the tutorial "Scenery Design with Performance in Mind" available at the ACG web site.

It seems that the original Alphasim B-52 is nowhere to be found. I have noticed a few repaints for download, but no model or ADEs.
If anyone has guidance on a follow-on sources that we can link and will pass this info along, I would very interested.

Once Alphasim stopped trading the sources for the model disappeared over night. AFAIK, Phil also owns Virtavia, so he still owns the Alphasim models.
I think that you will either find that he releases with some mods for payware through simmarket or he will release it as is as freeware. It just may take him some time to decide which he is going to do. My guess is that he plans to mod it, otherwise he would have released it withe the rest.
