Re: Aerospatiale Gazelle
Ok, the flickering I experienced and mentioned in my previous post has stopped - this was after I converted all the included libraries with MCX. Whether this was purely by luck - who knows?? But, I don't mind experimenting to get some of the older bases into a newer sim. Just posting this to help an...

Re: Aerospatiale Gazelle
Thanks for the reply John, I'll keep experimenting - it's not a real biggie, but nice to learn to see if I can solve it!!

Re: Aerospatiale Gazelle
Hi John. Once again, many thanks for another outstanding package! I had some issues setting up Pau in P3D v4.5, your side of things seems perfect, but 2 bgl files within the package from http://occitania.gratisim.fr. cause problems. The 2 files in question are/were LFBP_ADEX_MOUSS_GP.bgl (Contains a...

Re: Mirage 2000 AI project for P3Dv4-5
Henk - many thanks for these beautiful new models. I admired your Nimrod, but as I have a modern MilAI set-up she's not in use. These are though and they look great. Along with the conversions, these new models yourself, John and the F-16 crew are developing are really enriching the P3D AI World. Th...

Re: Spanish AFB V6 from FS9 to FSX
Thanks Tim - Much appreciated. I'll give my files a little look over and let John look at them first, I'm sure there's improvements to make as I'm learning my way around ADE.

Sadly no John - I've obviously misunderstood some of the conversation as I thought you'd received permission; so I'll keep going for personal use only. It's a good learning experience!!!

Re: Spanish AFB V6 from FS9 to FSX
These are the libraries I've identified so far: GGSE_FSX.BGL JGSE_FSX.BGL MAIW_ABO_P3D.BGL maiw_aircraft_shelter_library_FSX.BGL MAIW_Cargo_FSX.BGL maiw_fence_objects_library_P3D.BGL MTtrees2_FSX.BGL raf_gse_1980s_FSX.BGL and of course, the included library which I've converted myself: lemo_1.bgl I'...

Re: Spanish AFB V6 from FS9 to FSX
Hi John I've been playing around with LEMO for P3D v4 and have the shelters showing on the ASP, as you said in the readme they are not displaying for you. What you need to do is drag the lemo_1.bgl(This contains all the custom models for Moron) into Model Converter X and export it as a P3d bgl. Then...

For the P3D'rs, there' also this brilliant piece of freeware - https://simmershome.de/rostock-lage-airport/ Don't know what the parking's like as there's some statics that can be easily turned off. Free site registration is required

Re: Panavia Tornado
Glad to be of assistance and agree with you completely about a reissue - MCX is a fantastic tool, and with the help of the conversion team's guides I've managed to convert some civilian models for personal use with great success, but it's not for the faint hearted or impatient types!! And it also sh...

Re: Panavia Tornado
I'll gladly test it for you John - I was thinking of just changing the effect in MCX and recompiling the model, but I know that sometimes there can be undesired side effects (Probably Operator Error as MCX is brilliant) and I 'm loathe to mess the models up. Can I suggest a test with the GR4_BOZ_Fla...

Re: Panavia Tornado
Thanks for the quick reply John - I'm only using the Marham P3D package at the moment in P3D v4.4 with fx_JYAI_Tornado_AB_GR4.fx installed. A quick look in MCX attachment editor shows that the fx_f16_ab.fx is called for. I'll try renaming the fx_JYAI_Tornado_AB_GR4.fx file later on to see what happe...

Re: Panavia Tornado
John, many thanks for these latest beauties and all the other packages you've provided us with over the years!! While doing a little AI Spotting at Marham in P3DV4 I noticed that there didn't seem to be any reheat effect on take-off. Rather than burden you with investigating, I opened one of the mod...

Re: F-35 Variants (FS9, FSX and P3Dv4)
If your using ORBX, have a look at the terrain.cfg entries [texture.264] to [texture.267].I had to change the "ExcludeAutogen=No" to "Yes". That should get rid of the trees. May need to do it again after running FTX Central, or updating their products. Cheers! This seems to fix ...

Re: F-35 Variants (FS9, FSX and P3Dv4)
So, I've got all the variants installed and very nice they look too! Thanks John and team. I'm having some issues with the converted sceneries - just a couple of examples. Hill AFB seems to be lacking a few buildings and the Sun shelters, couple of airfields have random trees scattered where they sh...
