The ninth part of this series brings you the Hawks flown by the Indonesian Air Force (Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Udara or TNI-AU) The Indonesians initially bought a total of 20 Hawk 53s in four batches but only a few remain actively in service today. In 1993, Indonesia ordered eight "Hawk 109s" and sixteen "Hawk 209s", with an option for 16 more Hawk 209s, which was exercised. All 40 new Indonesian Hawks were delivered by 1998. As a special bonus, this package includes the 10 TNI-AU F-16A’s and B’s based at Iswahjudi (WIAR).
