This package features Lockheed C-130 W2 “Snoopy” (XV208), a weather research aircraft operated by the then UK Defence Evaluation and Research Agency (DERA), part of the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD), in conjunction with the UK Meteorological Office. The aircraft was based at The Royal Aircraft Establishment at Farnborough, Hampshire and later MOD Boscombe Down in Wiltshire. It was retired from that role in 2001, but a few years later it was acquired by Marshalls of Cambridge as a flying test bed for the Airbus A400m engine. It was finally scrapped and chopped up at Cambridge in 2015. AI aircraft only, with separate FS9 and FSX/P3Dv4 versions. No scenery or flight plans included.
