Re: Military AI mod for MSFS 2024
It is interesting. I have some of Corsten's stuff installed so I do hope that this remains freeware. Also if it like hie GAMod package then you can't add to it.
My key question though is, has he found a way to overcome the shortcomings of the MSFS24 AI engine? If so could he please tell Asobo.

Re: Greece Block 30's
As i type this, I still not have any updates from Kev on the last of the block 20 work or the block 30 work.
The last i heard he was trying to sort exactly where he was in the project after a long break abroad.

Dave,
I think that you need to make it clear which model works in 2020.

Well i don't know what you are doing wrong but CH-53 gets me 21 results which includes the conversion package and 11x repaint packages for the RKAI model.

Re: COMPUTER ADVICE
Yes, what I found is that they include them still in the massive cases but they are removed from medium cases. My guess is that if they removed them from the large cases then you are kinda stuck as to what would take up that space.

Re: Boeing talks aboit reboot of C-17 production
I agree with Tim. It wouldn't make much sense to just put the previous model back into production but one with updated avionics is one that might attract the USAF, and lets be honest that really is the only customer that would make it worthwhile restarting the line for.

Re: COMPUTER ADVICE
This one spooked me, Steve.
I just checked and indeed they are hardly available anymore, time is really moving on. You need to look for a big tower to still get 5.25“ bays. Thermaltake and be quiet! still offers them.
I stayed with Gigabyte mainboards the last 20 years, and always ...

Re: COMPUTER ADVICE
There is one thing I should mention.
If you are having to buy a new case for your PC what you will find is that they no longer include slots for CD/DVD drives.
So you will either have to buy an external drive or buy a case that you can fit your internal in.
maybe not very important for most, but ...

Re: COMPUTER ADVICE
Well the first thing is to get some advice from people that have installed FSX on Windows 11. I am ignoring Windows 10 as it reaches end of life within two months and I am not even sure that you can buy a license for it any more. Also Windows 12 will be out next year so you might as well prepare for ...

Re: MSFS 2020
I would accept that, however we at at MAIW have never used any program or add-on that would require people to spend money to use.
So as good as it might be we will wait for Asobo/MS to get a grip with their AI system OR a freeware alternative emerges to enable us to kick on.

If it is the same as every other sim then the simple way is to create an exclusion zone over the area that you want to clear.

Re: File attachments to forum posts
As you know we always respect the wishes of developers.
The developer did not want to leave his work online. I believe that it might be related to the fact that he couldn't continue to develop it plus the Matrix files were for an earlier version of P3D. I believe that he felt that leaving them ...

That is an interesting question.
In principle it sounds like it should be OK, but the entirety of the Matrix files were removed from sharing by its author.
So I think that to be safe that anything from the Matrix must be shared one-one basis. As such, probably the best idea is to load the small ...

Re: How to convert MAIW packages to FSX/P3D?
Since the website moved the naming of the pages has changed, so very old links will not work.
However, to find the page you just search using a couple of suitable words.
In this case I think that https://militaryaiworks.com/forums/topic/16733.html is what you are looking for.
