I hate to argue the point, but can you tell me which Hornet Squadrons are permanently stationed at Yuma??? All the MAG 13 squadrons are VMA not VMFA. VMFT-401 are F-5s ...

Pretty much everything the USMC has passes thru Yuma for WTI courses and the use the ranges, MV-22's/Hornets/Helos

Yes that is right, we get alot of of traffic during WTI.

HEHE, theres only one issue with that, the F18s stationed here in Yuma dont park under the canopys. They park out in the sun, the canopys are for the F5s and the Harriers only.

Not really. We see a lot of flares and such. They use the bombs waaay out in the middle of the range, which is about 1.5hr drive from us, or 90 miles. When I am flying in real life, I see helicopters and all kinds of jets flying over that direction to do something.

The targets are located out on the Eastern range complexes. As Danny says, either follow the aircraft that head out that way towards the Barry Goldwater ranges or head out that way in your own bird and you will find a variety of targets for your practice destruction. Watch out, there's a SAM ...
