Yuma MCAS v2

Post by bkircher »

Hey there

Just curious to know if my home city Yuma will ever get updated?? Quite a lot has changed since the initial release 5 some years ago. We now have quite alot of new hangers which will house V22 Ospreys, and the majority of them will be for the F35Bs which we house. We will have 6 squads of them once fully up and running, currently we have 1 squad operational with 16 F35s.

Lots of new GA buildings as well since the first release. I am in and out of that airport all the time, and could easily get access to the airport to take pictures to provide you with. I really hope that it can be updated, if not the ai, the airport scenery update would be greatly appreciated as I don't think anyone will ever do the airport.

Thanks guys.

I think that once we have viable models for the MV-22 and the F-35B then it becomes an option. This is one of those places were we need the models first.

I've reworked the AFCADs and added a couple of the new hangars. I have it in my Semper Flight 2020 project using the F-35A model as a basis.

Since MCAS Yuma was done by MAIW, I didn't want to release anything with their stuff in it. But let's just say I've been tinkering around in your home city. :)
