Oh that is so funny. I never had a sleepover in my ATC career. I always slept alone, and those tower floors are not that comfy!

You mean you NEVER brought in a mattress or even better a hammock ? You mean, your girlfriend,friend ,better 1/2 /SHMBO or kids never visited on mid's ?? The evening crew never stayed to play an all night poker game ? Played Halo3 ? Take the portable transceiver outside on the twr balcony on a warm windy night and sit in a deckchair ?
Oh the stories that the windows of some units could tell ={:-O
We even had a high backed chair nicknamed the "Boa Chair " .So called because one could comfortably curl up in it .Turn the frequencies way up JUST in case one became too too comfy . 80% of my Salmon flies for the next season were tyed on mid's ,and ,ahem, the dry air in a twr is PERFECT for painting in Acrylics .Not that I ever started one on a Sunday, finished it on a Monday, and had it framed on my next day off .
Me too I NEVER did any of that and ALWAYS slept alone ,er, worked alone on midnites listening to C&W songs such as "I've been lonely in the saddle since my horse died "
