Hi all, currently establishing myself at RAF Coningsby flying the Eurofighter along with MAIW AI package...are the flight plans that come with the MAIW package Eurofighters, real world routes, or as close to them as possible?.....Am I able to obtain/replicate these exact same flight plan schedules , so as to follow them...if so , how?..............thanks

Re: UK Eurofighter Operations
Our flightplans are always going to be best guesses, even with more stable mission platforms like a transport plane.
You will never get accurate mil plans, and if you did you wouldn't like them. To give you an idea, when i was based at CGY you would get a pair of FGR2s take off for work over the North Sea, then return, and another pair, then another. Maybe a 3 ship and occasionally a 4 ship. Strike birds go to ranges, then return. You get the idea.
Our early plans were somewhat unrealistic due to the number of land aways. It also caused problems with the number of aircraft at some bases. Our later plans are less flamboyant and more realistic, i.e. most take off and land at their home base.
A sqn schedule is decided the previous evening according to how many aircraft they have serviceable and what they want to do.
Finally for security reasons the military never give out flightplan info, too much info can be obtained from doing that.

Re: UK Eurofighter Operations
Hi, thanks for your response, are you able to supply me with flight routes, obviously I"m not asking for the official military routes , just the "fictional" MAIW package ones for the eurofighters at coningsby, so as to carry these flights out myself...

There are various tools that will show you what flights make up the traffic file, for example flight planning tool AIFP v2 http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?Ca ... LID=154033 or the really useful utility ACA2005 http://aifs2.pvdveen.net/?page_id=5.
Of the two ACA2005 is the most useful as it can also display all the flights for a given base, and you can even save it as an html file.
