I found on another site, something about a comms failure, that was rectified shortly after the intercept took place. As for the picture taking, the only thing I can think is that he was taking a picture of the registration.

Thank's for the URL .You're right ,they do take pic's to ad to the report back @ ops .The Kings Of Leon song goes quite well with the vid.
Greatest Canadian intercept was care of a 425 Sqn CF101 in '73 .He did it by dropping in from FL400+ and across the nose of an Air Canada DC9 YOW to YVO .

Yes it is. its on the Cambrai-Epinoy package (French Air Force Mirage 2000’s – Part 2)

Aircraft texture is: texture.FAF_EC02_012_123

Thank you! Anybody know why they changed the number from 12 to 103?

I think that they changed from wing number to base number. Although I am willing to be corrected.

Exactly what they did. Not sure why though. Maybe because so many units were being disbanded?
