Hey guys and gals,
I'm pretty new to the scene, but seem to be making headway (thus far!). Defiantly wouldn't be doing so well without you lot!
I've managed to hit a couple of brick walls, any advice would be appreciated! I'm using FS2004 atm, why fix what isn't broken?!
1 - When using AFCAD/AFX airport design programs, sometime I can't specify taxiway names, other times I can. What's happening there? What can I do to cx it?
2 - I've got a couple of AI a/c (ex-fs2002) that show up when I'm in 'spot-view', but then disappear when in 2D/VC view.
3 - I can't seem to find any copies of the old Alphasim Sea Vixen. I bought it when it was first released, but then subsequently lost it during a HDD upgrade. I've contacted them and they apparently 'no longer support this aircraft'.
Oh, and Hi by the way!
Regards,
Nick

Hi Nick,
The answer to number 1 , in AFX, is simply highlight the segment(s) of taxiway that you want and type its name into the box on the top right of the toolbar. If you click on the drop down menu it will allow you to pick one already designated as well.
The answer to number 2, I think, is simply that there was no VC in FS2002 so the model would not have a VC view build in especially early FS2002 only models. However I am willing to be corrected here.
Number 3, I think would have been released on Avsim, so simply wait until they are back online later this week.

Biggles,
Not all Alphasim aircraft have been released as freeware I'm afraid.
They closed down their operations last year (I think) and you can find their freeware stuff here;

We actually only changed our name to Virtavia. Same crew still making it happen. Who made the Alphasim Sea Vixon? I don't recall.Stewart Pearson wrote:Biggles,
