Am I right in thinking that the Fury that went off-road at the same event kept his nose-wheel intact?

From the reports, the Fury was not damaged. That's good because it's the only flying example in the world.

Just reading that normally anything over taxi speed it's recommended to eject, Vipers tend to flip over in the dirt easy. Great pic of a 80's Nellis based Viper that was rebuilt, crashed, rebuilt again after an off-runway trip. Not sure if the SE ANG package had this tail#, but don't remove it yet.

Fog in the cockpit? Might have to try to replicate this in FSX.

So he gets "fog" in the cockpit because the environmental system craps out and instead of declaring an emergency and getting as much help as he can, he decides to continue with a downwind landing and tell no one he's having visibility issues????

That makes no sense what so ever. Something tells me we're not getting the whole story.
