Didn't get the notice on v1.47.11 about the new version, but it's out with the pay Pro version.

Looks good so far.
I think you had to have the 1.49.11 beta to get the upgrade notice? Vers. 1.50.01 is a complete new stand alone version, not an upgrade to the 1.47 version. Do not try to overwrite the 1.47.11 version.

Just gave it a try, it places effects and beacons really easy. Only thing I noticed is there is no object rotation function on the effects so you have to enter the heading by hand in the dialog box. It is alot more friendly that Scenery Object Placer though IMHO.

Thanks for posting this here :D As already mentioned 1.50 is a completely new version. There are full instructions included for installing it including how to copy your current settings and other files to the new version. Please do not install this over your existing 1.47 version. I am aware that you cannot drag rotate an effect - I am fixing that.

There are, as always, bugs that stay well hidden during testing but show up as soon as we release. This was some kind of record - about 30 minutes before the first report came in

This post contains a list of know issues with 1.50.01 and we are working on them now http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/showthread.php?t=77008

Most can be avoided or have workarounds.

EDIT
Just a thought if you want to be up to date with ADE announcements. We automatically norify ProKey Holders of changes that affect the ProKey. For others we have a mailing list that can be joined via the front page of the ADE website. This is a low volume list but we do advise on new versions and sometimes advance betas are made available via the list

Update to ADE 1.50.04

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We have just released this update. It is primarily bug fixes to address most of the issues identified in current 1.50. It however contains one new and one updated feature:

- The taxiway network can now be locked. This should stop accidental drag or delete of taxi paths and nodes. Accessed via the Lock Menu
- Effects can now be drag rotated to set their heading

This version is released via the on-line updater (Help > Check for Updates) provided you have version 1.50.01 or later.

There is also a manual update package available at http://www.scruffyduck.org.uk/files/..._04_update.zip

The full manual install for ADE 1.50 (including updates) is here http://www.scruffyduck.org.uk/files/ade_150_full.zip
