I recently started looking for and downloaded high quality freeware (flyable) militray planes. I was wondering if you guys could recommend some.
So far I have....
Iris - F-15's, Harrier, Tornado, and Hawk
Team FS KBT's F-18 and P-3 Orion
Kirk Olsson's F-16 and F-1
Warwick Carter's P-51
Jonathan Hilaire and Roland Laborie's Mirage 2000 N
High quality freeware military planes

A lot of Alphasim stuff is now freeware, and not just some of the "old" stuff either

Kirk Olson's F-16, plus the models made by Kazunori Ito. All on Avsim and Flightsim.
Re: High quality freeware military planes
I've got paints for some of those I made...search flightsim.com for "hoopes".

Re: High quality freeware military planes
Thanks for the suggestion guys. Hope to get more suggestions! And thanks for reminding me about the Alphasim freeware stuff. I have a few of of the payware stuff from them and forgeot they released a lot of freeware planes too.

+1, great model and I was very surprised it was freeware, now if I can get it to work in FSX.MIKE JG wrote:Section8 F-86 Sabre, one of the best freeware fighters out there.
Good list so far, add T. "Piglet" Conrad's models to the mix (A-1, OV-10, PC-7, T-33, L-29, T-28) and you can't go wrong with former payware like the Iris aircraft.
