Is it just me??

Post by tomt966 »

I run MAIW w/o problems in FS9....but despite how many acft I try to download using the FSX install option, nothing ever shows up. What am I doing wrong?? It tells me it loaded ok, and I can find the files in FSX/MAIW/USA or United Kingdom....textures, models, air, everything....

There is no FSX install option, because the packages are only produced for FS9. You need to follow the Manual FSX install instructions found in another thread in the support forum.

You can still use the auto setup that MAIW use you just select your FSX main folder. Then you just have to move the aircraft from the aircraft folder that it make to the simobject/airplanes folder

And you MUST convert the traffic.bgl to FSX type, or you will lose all but the first FS9 style bgl that FSX loads. AI Flightplanner (AIFP2) has a search and conversion program built in.
