They are still active, its the AWACS Boeing E-3....

The RAF hasn't retired any E-3s. They are going to sell the Sentinels not the Sentrys.

I think the plan is to wind down the Sentry fleet too, after all, the world is at peace now. :roll:

You don't need AWACS, it's all ball bearings nowadays.....

We could always get a private contractor to do the UK airspace cover :D Same as the RAF rescue. OOps better go to work :x
