MSPG Simulation - Castle Martin Range FSX

Post by lowlevelRAF »

Hi Guys

The following shots, are taken from the final phase BETA of our new Castle Martin Range Scenery for FSX!

Having been past this range many times on holiday, its a place that I also know, hasn't been done in FS. Therefore, we at MSPG Simulations decided to make, for a break from the Afghanistan scenery. The scenery included the main army camp, training area, and the small village of Castle Martin plus more. As of yet there are no military vehicles on the training area, but we may release a patch including some if people request it. We have tried hard to create some of our own buildings for this project, however it also uses some FSX Default buildings and trees. Vehicles were also used from the freeware libary of MCDMil and another freeware libary which adds ground equipment etc. (Cant remember the name of it, doh!). Here are the BETA shots, but more than likely will be the real deal :)

The Scenery is intended to be used with Photo VFR tiles for around the area in the scenery. There is an exclude, included with the scenery for those without photo tiles, however I would recommend the tiles.

Nice pics there of the former Bundeswehr tank range.

The last time I fired a tank (well, a CVR(T) to be more accurate) was on that range in 1983.

Pembrokeshire is one of my favourtie places in the whole world, it was always a pleasure to work there, never mind holiday. I've never seen military aircraft there other than when I went to Brawdy back when it was an RAF station.
