Just saw these comments over at Evolve AI. Can someone attend to the problems?
"Three of your B-1s have some flightplan troubles, flights are (by error) longer than 24Hrs and therefore they have the usual "departure before arrival" problem.
And is it common in the mil-ai community to allocate the same registration to multiple flights????
As I am not that much into the mil-stuff I can only assume that there are not as many B-1s around (in real life) as you need for 70 indepedent flightplans..."
Cheers

yeah, sorry for the late response, been at work all day. ok, firstly the registration numbers I chose to just use the ones that were actually painted onto the C-130s and B-1s, I don't like using made up registrations and at the time I couldn't find reg numbers for the C-130 squadrons stationed at Dyess. On the number of B-1s thas an accurate number, the Dyess B-1 wing is fairly large and there are even more stationed at Ellsworth and Edwards(that pack will come at a later date, not this week). As far as fp issues, they were checked by numerous sources, if a big enough issue rises with them, I will patch the package down the road.
Sorry for saying so but I think that's bit of a weak excuse... Anybody with access to the Scramble database could have given you the numbers, took me less then a minute to find these:reconmercs wrote:I don't like using made up registrations and at the time I couldn't find reg numbers for the C-130 squadrons stationed at Dyess.

That was not a very grateful sounding post.Bora wrote:

It is true that Scramble is a great source for serial #'s but it is also a pay site. I think it's around $70 or $80 US. The free side of it has limited access to the database.
So I guess you are saying that these fine people at MAIW should be paying for info so that you can have something for free.
Looking forward to the BAIW packages.

That's not what I am saying at all, just read my post again... In fact I am the one paying...StingingCanine wrote:So I guess you are saying that these fine people at MAIW should be paying for info so that you can have something for free.
No need to sink to a certain level, I thought this part of the forum was also to give feedback... Be it positive or negative...reconmercs wrote:nevermind. not gonna sink to that level.
Uh, is it safe to step into this thread yet?
Someone has identified in a different thread that the Dyess C-130s often use the callsign "Hazard." I had this one sitting around from a previous package, so here it is for anyone wishing to update their files.

WOW...avsim in on the ball tonite, version 2 is already up:

In version 2 of this package there are 4 effects files. Are any of these for the C-130? Cause in the first version of the package there was a effects file named fx_nicklesmokeC130.fx. I would like to know if I need to delete that file? Because that effect file is not included in version 2. I don't want any problems because of 2 C130 effect files.

Can you check your C130 H files
I have just installed version 2 and it has deleted/overwritten all the other [fltsm] sections in the WoA file so now I only have 2 c130's listed instead of 50 ish
I have done it twice now and the same thing happens
Can someone else check please
Gary
edit - its only the cfg file all the textures are still there

Gary,
please look at this thread, we are investigating, in the mean time it seems a manual install is the best option to go
