Don't know if it was the way I was watching it but did it seem to have a bit of a right-hand tilt just before touchdown :?:

Giorgio
Pretty cool .The AN225 and the AN124 will sit on the rny. and run their f##king engines, as you saw ,for almost 5 minutes . A real bitch for ATC to control and "your" AN225 must have caused headaches . Not much overshoot protection there with that guy on final .

I loved how the alarms went off on the car park after she flew over. That must have been loud!

Sr01 I hear you mate. The famous "request six minutes on the runway" feel like a lifetime while you're juggling with your other traffic. :-D

Mamm mia indeed! The lights give nothing away as to the size of the thing - you just see the lights moving forward, and you can tell how wide it is, but then it appears out of the darkness and it's like  HUGE!! And yeah, dig the car alarms

I didn't know it needs 5 minutes for the engines, understood why it stayed there for so long.
BTW, not a big problem for the ATC at that hour, just a couple of A320 in landing on 35R (as usual), It took off from 35L, no other aircraft in queue.
Unfortunately I can't hear it's noise at full, because I was inside Trerminal 1 on the other side of the airport.
BTW, I can say "I was there" :smt003 :smt003 8)

When that thing takes off, it's not a departure, it's an event......
