Re: Il-76
I really must go flying one day, there is a rumour that you can do this in FS9.

Re: Il-76
I leave near the landing route of Linate, but your terrace is in a high strategic position!!!
I don't know if it is as it was when I was in Rome for military service (84-85), but at that time I saw a lot of interesting arrivals. The top was a C-141.
Ciao

I was born just in 1984 so I cannot remember, but I've seen lots of interesting stuff: when George Bush came in 2003, for example, I've seen the Air Force One when I was preparing for the Maturità (=Italian high school exam), and the days before his arrival there was a daily C-17 or even a C-5!bismarck wrote:![]()

The Qatar Amiri Flight A330 or A340-500 come quite often (3-4 times per year), but I never photographed them. Royal Saudi Flight 777 or 747SP (at least in the past) used to come too. Sometimes there is a C-17, a Hercules, C-27 or MB-339 (too small to photograph with my 250mm lens) and foreign governmental flights: Sarkozy came both with an A319, A330 and A300, the Pope lands with Alitalia aircrafts (A321 if flying in Europe, 777 for intercontinental flights - some days ago he came back from Cuba with a 777, there is a photo in the Military Aviation photography section).
A real and unexpected highlight was this

It came in summer 2010 with some African chief of state on board.
