What road sign is this (UK)???

Yesterday I was exploring Stockport, Lancashire, on Google Street View (well, one might as well ask why... I'm just fighting boredom) and found this road sign. What sign is this?

And the worst thing,sometimes you don't even notice that and when you go to register the car you see that half of the salary you need to give for tickets :?

Funny thing about speed cameras in the UK -

All fixed cameras are on sat NAV devices which warns you when you approach one.

Mobile cameras - the police put an ad in the local paper where and when they will be operating them.

And sometimes they clock fast jets, with embarrassing results (for the cops).
