RAF West Raynham (Hawker Hunter)

Post by daveh »

I thought I would share this with you. It's made entirely from MAIW/Ted Andrews RAF buildings/hangars/operation/technical and domestic scenery. The vegetation is from UKVFR packages - so if you don't have that package the trees and shrubs won't show and you'll have to plant your own  I make no claims as regards accuracy, it's just something I put together so that I had a base for John Young's fabulous Hawker Hunters (1 and 54 Sqn) to fly from.

Flight plans and scenery bgl for West Raynham. The scenery is aligned to the Horizon's VFR Phot Scenery.

Zsolt, try this attached see if that clears the problem. I've drawn an Autogen exclude around the whole base which should stop the autogen trees appearing. I've no way of testing it as I use the VFR photo scenery.

In which folder have you put the Traffic BGL in? Have you altered any of the titles in the Aircraft.cfg for the Hunter?

There's no file at the link. I've attached my copy of the Aircraft.cfg, which has not been altered since downloading it, for you to compare with your own.

What percentage have you got you traffic slider set to? If it's below 100% trying upping it to that and see if you get anything. Otherwise I'm completely stumped :?

One other possibility is that the traffic file may have become corrupted - try downloading it again see if that solves the problem.

I think I may have found the problem - the parking spots at West Raynham are 10m whereas the Hunter radius is 16m, which could explain why nothing is showing.....but thanks for the scenery though Dave, marvellous stuff! :D

 Ooops, my apologies I'd forgotten I'd changed that. At 16m I couldn't fit enough parking slots in for all the aircraft. Thanks delbydoo and you're welcome.

No probs mate - I know what it's like putting scenery or anything else together for that matter - there is usually something that goes astray; fixed it now and here's the result

EDIT: BTW, just altering the size of the parking spots will do it - I didn't delete any :)
