I am endeavouring to make a 2nd install of FS9, so that I can use it for "Retro" and testing etc.
I am trying to figure out how I can either run Editvoicepack in both or transfer the callsigns from one to the other.
Anyone tried this and figured out how to do it?
Question for the technically minded.

If you want the same evp in both versions it is easier enough to do. You can simply use a proggy that will auto backup one file to another location. I have one that I use that is pretty good and is portable, will have to wait until I get home to check what it is called.
I use it to back up my downloads folder to a separate hard disk. Any changes that are made to files in that directory will automatically get mirrored 10 mins after I download, mod or delete anything.
So you would update your main voice file and it would get automatically copied over.
Does this sound like what you want?

OK, when I finish shift I will let you know the proggy involved and the file you clone.

Re: Question for the technically minded.
Stew,
The proggy I use is Allway Sync 'n' Go 12.2.1, this the portable version, and you can download it from here http://allwaysync.com/download.html.
The easiest thing is to set it up to auto sync the entire FS9\Sound folder and then any time you update your mods the USEnglishBig.gvp file will get copied across to the other installation.
