A little bit of "retro"

Post by Stewart Pearson »

Been working on a 2nd install of Fs9, so I can use it for all the superb retro models and scenery that's been appearing.

Here's just a wee taster;

RAF Wattisham - dawn at the QRA 74 Sqn Phantoms

Image

RAF Leuchars - 64SQN/228 OCU Phantoms

Image

RAF Lossiemouth - 8 Sqn Shackleton/226 OCU Jaguars/TTTE Tornados

RAF Wildenrath - 19 Sqn Phantoms

Hope you like.

Unfortunately not John. It's Paul Foster's FS9 Shack available at Flightsim.

and

Goes against the grain, but I just couldn't have a retro Lossie without a couple of them.

Stew,
Who did AI JP5's? I haven't seen those before.

UKMil do them. Not really proper AI mate. I think they're were originally static scenery items which have been adapted.

Comes with Cranwell and Linton schemes.......fills a wee gap.

If you cannot get it, let me know and I'll pass it on.

Edit: Have stuck it in your folder Steve.

Appreciate that, Stew.
I will check it out to see if it is the standard of the original UKMIL releases or whether it is of the standard of what I will call their second gen releases where they try and apply good AI practices.

The main problem with that JP is that one of the main wheels "twists" 90 degrees whilst taxiing, then both wheels actually show through the wings when flying - not enough to stop me using it though.

Maybe it will do until somebody like JY, or a new starting wanting a fairly simple topic, does one.
Although one of painters could do a far better job of creating paint schemes.

A view that all spotters at RAF Leuchars will recognise.
