Not sure yet how we're going to release this model, maybe just as a stand alone release so you old schooler's can have access to her right away. Paint kit will probably be included with it so you can paint your hearts out.
Mark Walsh has done such a nice job with the paints for this, I think I'll go ahead and do the A model as well which has engines that are easier to model than these TF-33's.

Great Mike.
If you're doing the A, might need a darker smoke effect - she was one dirty smokey sod!

Mike,
Stand alone with the paintkit please. Seriously though thank you all involved in its creation (and the R of course) very much. This is a model us retro guys have been waiting for so long. Now all we need is the 'A' you are doing and there is another complete set.

Thanks, gonna shoot for the late model A's with the bigger tail. That should cover most of everything.

Yea I thought that was pretty swell of you to do that for me! Thanks.
Those other paint jobs you did really do deserve a proper A model to go on so I'll make sure that happens.

Absolutely spot on, gentlemen.
Hey, think we'll see an Open Skies since we're on the subject of old school?

Started on the Open Skies model the other night actually. And those two aircraft are not even technically retro!

Have these enticing looking paints been released? As for the model, will the Chilean AF KC-135E recently released here work with these paints? I am trying to do some retro AI Cold War circa '63 B-52 and accompanying refueling KC's (E's but ideally A models) but have given up trying to get the PAI models (in addition to the hassle of having to use their installer, their cryptic indexing on their forum makes the model impossible to locate) and would love to get these MAIW tankers flying.
regards,
