John Stinstrom has released a new scenery for Oceana Naval Air Station! The file name is kntu_js.zip and can be found at avsim.

It looks fine in FSX at first glance. John has included lots of trees, though, that have to be switched out.

what FSX tree library do recommend using for swapping out the FS9 trees?

Don't forget to get rid of the Fence bgl as well.

Runs really nice scenery in FSX as well. You don't really miss the trees & fences.

I'm using something called vegetation.bgl. No idea where that comes from. At some point I may get rid of the fence but its so short I hardly notice it.

Agree, typically what I do as well. Looks like the parking codes in the AFD need to be adjusted to match the squadrons. Running the non-MAIW Oceana Hornets.

If anyone has an up to date AFCAD for this, please put it up because like the post above the Jets are parking everywhere and not matching at all with where they park in real life.

I have plans on updating the AFCAD eventually and if John ok's it I'll post it here, just trying to get some MAIW stuff out the door first :wink:
