Are there any differences between the E Paintkit and the R paintkit?

Yes there are. You cannot interchange them unfortunately. The E model has different engines obviously and the engine pylons are also different.

The R model also has one extra texture file which is for the engine covers. The E model incorporates the smaller covers onto the main texture sheet so it doesn't need a separate file.
