We took off from Teterboro last evening about 1900 and it wasn't bad yet, just a little breezy. KTEB sits a mere 7' above sea level and is built on a swamp, by this time tomorrow, it will no doubt be under water.

Current metars from the NYC area:

Spent all day down in Manhatten on Saturday, can't imagine what Times Square is like right now.

After 12 days of sitting in the dark and having no heat the power finally came back on today!!!! The only positive thing during these 12 days is I saw a C-17 from Charleston at Islip (KISP) delivering supplies. I also saw 2 USCG Ocean Sentry planes at Islip.

Normally I am sitting in the dark in 90 degree weather and 100 humidity after a Hurricane. Glad to hear the power is back on and that your OK.
