The weathering looks great, are you using a separate layer during repaint with the panel lines?

Yes, what I do is duplicate the layer with the panel lines and then make the lines basically black, then use the Gaussian Blur on that layer, I think it gives a nice look. Then of course you can make them as transparent as you want depending on how dark you want them. I am sure there are other ways to give weathering effect but I don't know any other ways

That's a nice effect mate - see, even us oldun's learn something new everyday; I other week I learnt how to produce ribbing effects, on the DC-3 for example. Great when you know how!
