I guess we across the pond are spoiled with several B-17/25's restored and a -29 flying around.

The B-29 "FIFI" is in financial trouble after an engine failed at an airshow this past fall.

It apparently costs $10,000 an hour to operate and they need over a million bucks just to fix the engine. So it's not airworthy right now.

If anybody ever makes it to Pungo in Virginia Beach, Va (where??) we have a great museum that over 95% of the aircraft are flyable and are flown quite often. I have seen just about every aircraft they have given a demo flight.
