C-130's Exhaust Effect

Post by cgold »

I know this must have been brought up somewhere else, but what is going on in these photos?
Some other folks over at AIG are curious of a solution too. :?

I do know about this. There are a lot of smoke effects that generate this, first noticed with the wonderful Hunter from Dave Garwood.

It appears for a short period of time at dawn and dusk and there is nothing you can do about it. It may be possible to completely re-write the effect to avoid this but as nobody has yet, to my knowledge, identified a fix for this or others. Not every smoke effect does this, some do some don't.

I just live with it.

Like Steve, says there is no fix. You can delete the effect completly from the aircraft.cfg if you need too.
