[Non mil] FlyTampa Dubai

Post by james84 »

Hello all,
Some days ago I treated myself with this great scenery. The addon takes 800 megabytes in the FS9 setup (even more in the FSX one, which is also provided) but it's really worth the price (€35).
Only the afcad needs a rework. The following screenshots have been taken using my own reworked afcad, which is a modification of the one that can be found on the FlyTampa forums.
Aircrafts are all AI dedicated ones. FPs from the usual sources (AIG, UTT etc.) plus my own. Military traffic from MAIW and my own flightplans.

Looks great. I would have negative frame rates if I tried this on my machine

The frame rates are supposed to be really good.

I confirm. The whole scenery eats 800 megabytes but the only moments when framerates are not 100% are when you are viewing a lot of aircrafts.

If you have improved it Giacomo, that's good enough for me mate - can you PM it to me when convenient please?

Great shots! Love that second one.

I have a friend that I went through flight school in college with that is a captain for NAS Air on the E-190 like the one you have pictured there!

Here is how Dubai Airport looked in the 80's (from the Airliners.net forum)

That is amazing!

Paid my first visit there ( in RL ) last year and the place is huge!

To compare then with the present situation is beyond words! :D
