Buccaneers are done and documented. There are 11 models in total with a mix of wing fold and non-wing fold. I haven't produced the usual 10 individually numbered aircraft for specific squadrons (the serial numbers are so small in any case), but rather, I have concentrated on variety. Here's the test flightline in FSX:
I also did some of the testing at the high altitude Tonopah test range with 4 aircraft in the desert paint scheme:
The Royal Navy contingent is represented by an S2 with and without a recce pack in the belly and also the same choice of S1s:
Here's a flight of 5 including the SAAF S-50 with Nord AS30s, the Boscombe Down DERA Rasperry Ripple and the 208 Sqn Anniversary scheme:
I was hoping to be able to get somewhere near the classic Buccaneer take-off, with an immediate gear retraction and a shallow climb out, but after much experimenting and discussing it with Guru Mike M, we decided that the AI engine just won't cooperate. The bottom line in the screen shot below is roughly how it should be and the top line is the best I can do:
I am asking a few people to have a play with the aircraft for the next week and then hopefully I can get the packages out soon after.
