Henry's F.16

Post by Chrisb »

Has anyone tried to blank out parts on HT's F.16 using the alpha channel trick. I tried it to hide the wing tanks using the normal black and white and the tanks came back very shiny but still very visible.

Any ideas?

There is model without tank in Henry's model. Have a look in the different models directories

I believe Chris is looking for a solution to only have the centreline tank...

If the model has ANY reflective parts, the texture in FSDS gets defined as a reflective texture. In that case the alpha channel controls the amount of reflectivity of a part and not the transparency.

So I'm guessing that he built the model with reflective properties which means you can't hide parts like you can on the FMAI models.

Thanks Mike. It was as Bora said. I was trying to leave a centre tank by hiding the wing tanks of the 'fuel' model.
