Is this only happening with STB open? I have the same issue with some AI regardless if I am using STB or not.

AI traffic behaves as normal, until I open STB.

Just a heads up on this, I sent an email to the guys who developed this & I've since got round this problem by doing the following:

1) Right click the aircraft on the board;
2) Pick "Configure Flight", then "Configure Aircraft"
3) If the aircraft already exists in the STB database, you will see the record selected in the table. If is unknown, a new record is created;
4) Set the "Departure Flaps Handle" to zero, click Save, click OK
5) You may need to restart STB to see it take effect.

This unfortunately has to be done once for every aircraft cfg file that exists, doesn't take as long as you think actually.

I have asked Simon - who is a very nice and helpful guy - if he could add a switch to disable that behavior on program level, but he was not too excited about that. Now that he has other feedback for the same issue, I will pick up this conversation with him again :smt003

Simon has agreed that the ability to disable the auto-flap handling is indeed a must-have for an audience like ours and has added it to this years update list :smt001
For those pondering about buying STB it might be helpful to have a look at the manual.

Martin
