So glad to see that somebody came up with an RAF MRTT. I have a personal version four lod model for the RAAF but haven't got back to finishing it or the RAF version off properly with 7-8 lods. Hopefully I won't need to now!
I'll save final judgement on further development of my model based on how good their model is.

Keep in mind that all the late AI models from UKMil are members only. I asked Gaffer twice if he would reconsider that but he never gave me so much as an answer. So from my point of view officialy these models are non-existent.

Martin

I would love that the quality of his models come up to what we expect, and that all his models are freely available. Until then I, like Martin, have to count them as vaporware.

Shame as nobody else is going to do a TSR2. Having said that, these days anything can happen so there is always hope.

I was thinking some time ago that the only way you would get things like the TSR2 would be a sort of Project Cancelled package. All the great projects that reached mockup phase at least. It is the ultimate retro project.

Whilst it is a personal wish, I am realistic on the chances of it coming to pass.

Make that two, Steve! You are not alone. My most wanted X-bird is the XB-70. But just imagine how ultra cool it would be to have a lot of these exotic aircraft at one base :smt038

Has anyone noticed that their A330 model has a center line landing gear that shouldn't be there?

I'll wait to see what people think about the UKMIL model before I venture down that road, no point me waisting my time if my model is set aside for another. I'm not feeling the love out there for my model in any case

Yes I thought that there was probably a few drawings around, but it's always the case of whether a modeller is going to spend their time on a model. I am not so sure that anybody would.
Personally, I think it looks it weirdest with it's undercarriage down in flight.

I think it looks even weirder on approach. It has quite a high AoA approach. It reminds me of a goose trying to land on a pond.

I agree
Gorgeous airplane that like the Martin Seamaster was nixed for political reasons !
Martin
Yes , the B70 would be a nice addition  There are some very accurate 4 views online duplicated from the original Paul Matt drawings . A BIG airplane ! Wright Pat. provided us with a 20 something foot ladder to gain access to the engine nacelles when we took pic's of the plane for a book n the XB-70 that never came to be . We spent 2 whole days there and one would need at least double that to go through all the drawings they have !!
