Large elegant lady.. Thanks Pascal. The paint is from Mike Pearson (for version 1 of the C-5 model).

I love these big birds. The C-5 model is one of my all time favourites to see in the sim.

Hey Pascal,
Any thoughts of it going FSX native in the future!

Hi Pascul.

Great pictures.

Living at Mildenhall I used to seeing these giants on a daily basis. Never ceased to amaze me.

Downloaded some textures like this from Mike Pearson a little while back but could never get them to work. Pity as these are just what I wanted for the Retro theme.

Sorry to ask but are these new textures for release or still the old paints.

Hi Pascal. :( :( Its a pity but I have to admit the C5 pictures looks great in the white and grey livery. Brings back some great memories. Hopefully someone will do the paints for the Retro theme in the future.

Many thanks

I have to say I agree. Its the way I think of the military heavies :) . This scheme on the C-141 was always a favorite.

It seems that you will be pleased with the RAF 51Sqn Airseeker's then. Me I would like to see them toned down and at least look like a mil aircraft.

I agree, this day and age all we seem to get is a grey variety with a few exceptions.. We did have some great colour schemes 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's more the military style we were accustomed to.

At least then we had quite a diversity in aircraft.

Looks like the white and grey will carry on more in style with the USAF or is that just the way they will come painted from Boeing.

The C5 that Pascal put up would have just blended in nicely with the Retro theme of things. We had the C141 in that colour so to follow that it would have been nice to see them floating in and out of Mildenhall. Until someone does a paint for them we will have to stick with the modern grey.

Just sometimes its nice to have a little nostalgia.
