A work in progress

Post by MIKE JG »

Just thought I'd share this "insider" look into the makings of an AI model. I personally always love seeing the wire frame versions of the models we use. Really shows how much work goes into their creation.

Mike, I really appreciate you posting this. I study each pic of works in progress to try and decern how various modeling issues are handled by others. One of these days, I will actually be able to produce a decent model myself. Up to now, I have seemed to suffer from a serious lack of inate talent, so will have to just try and try and try until I gain success. Posting pics like this help a lot, inspire a lot and are of great interest. Thanks.

Good base to discuss, Mike.
I see some fat removal possibilities there, I think you can make wings much simpler (less point section, where area is flat), some simplifying can go to engines, too.

Yes I'm certainly open to any pointers you might have. I'll move the picture back to my AI model thread and we can look at how to cut some polys over there.
