I love seeing all of Martin's screenshots, what I question is how AI planes can take off in formation? How is this done?

Dan,

I use one of two options, depending on what I want to achive. Either Jerry Beckwith's formation tool, or with a dummy setup of one to three airports that consist of a runway only each and Don's AIFlightPlanner. I stay with the aircraft using Simons's great SuperTrafficBoard, and I capture the shots with Fraps. Post processing is done with IrfanView.

Thanks for saying that you like my shots!
Cheers,
Martin

Very cool. Now I will attempt to do some cool shots, hopefully as good as yours. Guys check out Martin's gallery on his website, it gave me much more than I expected, and I am sure most of you will have the same reaction I did.

He has ALOT of really cool stuff on there, not to mention an awesome gallery of screenshots!

relfel66, Sorry, I have forgotten... When I am on photo safari, I have either planned and prepared a setup in advance or I am just flying around looking for locations I like. These shots were taken during such a fly-around session.

I also wanted to go back there. If memory serves me right that flight started in Christchurch.
Cheers,
Martin

First and third are NZMF, Milford Sound, on the west coast of the South Island.
A bit of a trick getting a 130 in and out of NZMF.
