Brian Clarke/Daryl Payne Chivenor Scenery

Post by dk1213 »

Hey this question is one I have been having problems with, and now I am putting it up on the boards because I have switched to FS9 and still have issues with the AI traffic at this awesome scenery. I do get traffic at every other scenery I have installed, just for whatever reason, the 63 and 151 squadron RAF T/1 hawks just will not show at EGDC. I do get the Sea Kings and some random Hunters and Lightnings parking there, but there should be over 20 hawks there every day (I have both the grey and camo schemes activated in each squadron) and I get nothing. If I delete one or the other scheme's traffic it makes no difference. I checked the aircraft.cfg's, the models, and in fs9 I don't even have to compile the traffic so it goes straight from the zip to the world/scenery folder. Everything looks good, the only weird thing is AIFP2 does not recognize the 63 squadron as being installed on either FSX or FS9, I only get the 151 planes greyed out. It is a strange problem and I thought I would throw it out here, I know Brian and Daryl both read these and I have got every problem I have ever had solved on these boards. I like the airfield and want to see the hawks there especially in my FS9 setup. I did notice that one download I have is just RAF Chivenor and the other is RAF Chivenor 1982-1992, but they both contain the exact same files.

Any help is appreciated guys! Thanks! :smt006

I am still trying to figure out FS9 totally, but so far, it is less buggy and better for my system overall than FSX.

Hi Dan
Do yourself a big favour if you haven't already - download ACA2005. It's a great tool and it will pretty much tell you what is missing or what is not being used, honestly mate, this one is a life saver.
The only thing I can say at the moment is check for duplicate afcads, because it sounds like the parking is being over-ridden by something.

Link for ACA2005
