On that last shot it looks like there is a new bump on the Buffs back, its just the angle of shot caught by BOB, which got a water tower in the background in view of shot...lol
The last shot is so close to what I had seen as a young teenage living on an air force base back in the mid '60s' and brings out some very strong emotions! Thanks for the memories. Ron

How did you get around the texture issues with textures in FSX? I have the fs9 scenery laid over MSE north Dakota and it looks amazing. The only 2 issues I have are with tree objects around the buildings near the hangars (appear as black rectangles), and the tree lines on the east and west end of the field (are transparent wide rectangles that remove everything behind them).
I converted the models to FSX format and changed the material properties to FSX standard. The process is not perfect, as FSX does not like FS9 models which use decal textures converted to FSX format (textures placed on textures). What I found was windows and doors flash when the models are converted, it's the two textures fighting to be on top which I found off putting. Some authors work, works perfect after the process and some do not look so good. I will get back to this someday.
I might be on the wrong track, but if I remember correctly you can overcome that flashing by changing the Zbias value slightly when converting the models.
Cheers,
Martin

Martin,
if you can find this data, I will gladly try it out. No rush as I'm on the move so not doing a lot of FS at present.
