Okay, so it's a bit quieter now than it was during the time when Spooks, Skyraiders and allsorts reigned supreme, but it's still seeing a bit of action every now and then.
The Yak paints are mostly done now (it's as close as I can get it, anyway), so now I just need to finally get my head around gmax texturing and doing oddly shaped hangars, and this project might actually see a release

As it turns out, the VPAF picked up some Aerostar Iak-52's somewhere along the lines. No idea which serials are associated with which decal (apart from the handful of pics I could find), so they've been randomized. Also, hangars are now in place, the texturing process in gmax looks like something I should be paid to do. Quite a leap from the very basic method I've found in previous pseudo-3D editors...

Indeed it is. The paintkit is a bit funky and the proportions don't quite feel right, but it's the only AI model I've come across.
