FSX Crashes

Post by shaggy22 »

I'm using Win 7 64bit & for some strange reason FSX decides to crash completely randomly, anytime anywhere. Apparently this is a known problem, so I googled to see if there was a fix & saw that there was. It's a small .dll file. However this doesn't work on my machine for whatever reason.

Any help would be appreciated, this is really starting to do my head in.

Do you need the fixed UIAutomationCore.dll?

This is one of the 1st fixes many have to do to deal with the random crashes. I tried to attach but the forums will not allow .dll's. Most of the major flight sim should have a link to it, it's sadly a very common issue, thanks M$!

hello, dont know if this will help- but-my fsx used to refuse to co-operate and crash if there were aircraft added which were incompatible- i solved this problem by using the scruffy duck AIFP. Place in the aircraft to fsx add a simple flight plan using it, then use the aifp to verify the addition. If there was no show in the aifp select bulk aircraft, the addition is deleted.. Maybe its something as simple as this.

Hi,

check HERE for the "uiautomationcore.dll" file.

There are 2 versions, one will do the job, if not then you'll have to investigate deeper but 1st give us a foul description off your system, FSX and whatever tweaks you have.
