This is probably an old question/problem but, I was flying a P-3 out of BIKF headed to Thule and there was considerable vegetation. Not on the airport but all over Iceland. Didn't think too much about it 'til I landed at Thule. Bushes and vegetation! Left Thule and flew to Gander low enough to see there was vegetation on Baffin Island, too. Above the Arctic Circle there shouldn't be that much or any vegetation. All one has to do is look at some of the pictures posted on Google Earth !
I've searched other forums for answers to this but none were found. I have the freeware ORBX Iceland scenery, but I don't really believe that is 'planting' the bushes. Is there some way of removing autogen trees & bushes in the arctic? (FSX)
Then again I remember someone in the service telling me, "Oh you're going to Thule ? You'll love it. There's a woman behind every tree".
