Sorry that's my fault. I had a reply ready in French but forgot to e-mail it to you.

We have discussed the matter but came to the conclusion that it's not up to us to decide if you can convert the scenery or not. Every scenery in our packages is built from objects that often come from several authors from whom we have permission to use them in our packages. Some of these authors are members of the MAIW team but many are not. If anyone else would like to make use of these objects it would be up to them to check with the respective authors. Unfortunately, many are no longer part of the team or have left the hobby entirely (like Nick Black in your case for LFMI) which doesn't help things.

I know this isn't of much help to you but I hope you can understand the reasoning behind our reply.
