AI Showing in my Flyable Aircraft list (FS9)
I'm sure there is a fix for this but I've had a look through the Tech Talk pages to no avail unfortunately, might just be a case of me being a bit blind.
On my FS9 when I go into my create flight folder and select an aircraft to fly, I'm finding numerous AI aircraft in the list.
How would I go about getting them removed out of the flyable list? As a lot of the MAIW aircraft are not showing but some of the repaints I have, such as the HAF F-16 repaints from Christopher Barbas or Miljans Austrian PC7 and my JBS RAF VC10 repaints are showing in the list.
Any help would be muchly appreciated.

For FS9, open the .air file for each aircraft that appears in the list (AirEd.zip on the popular FS sites will do the trick) and change "Aircraft Type=" from "0" to "2", hit Enter and save.
For FSX, remove the panel and sound folders.

Hi,
Use a program such as Aired to check the aircraft type in the airfile. It should be 0 not to show in the list and 2 to show. I think I have that the right way round so check the airfile of the aircraft that is in the list and change the number to the opposite of what you have.

Hi Gaz
I have just check mine, it must be the "Aircraft Type" from the "AI Lockheed F-16C.air" file, it is set to "0" alike "flyable". I don't now, I don't remember why I have leave it this way but you can fix that.
You will have to download the "AirEd" and change the value from "0" to "2". I think you can download the AirEd from FlightSim, if you cannot find it just tell me and I'll send it to you.
Again I am not 100% sure but it should be this.

Re: AI Showing in my Flyable Aircraft list (FS9)
My list is looking a whole lot better now .
While doing this for my a AI it come my mind ticking. Would it have any affect on the FS if I did the same to a couple of the Standard Aircraft such as the Wright Flyer or the 737 that I never use?

The easy answer is no, however you could just create a new folder 'Aircraft Hangar' and move them into it. I do that with all my aircraft i don't use any more. Easy to bring them back into service.
