Thought I'd do the Bulldog in the markings of the first air force to use it, all were based with the Swedish Air Force Flight Academy (F 5) at Ljungbyhed, the 5 on the fuselage indicates this unit. These were originally designated SK 61A, later six were modified to carry a RB 53 wire-controlled Bantam missile on the starboard wing-tip for training purposes and designated SK 61B. These were to train AJ 37 Viggen pilots before using the advanced (and much more expensive) RB 05 attack missile. This model will also be modelled.
The Armen (Army), designated FPL 61C, used theirs for liaison, artillery spotting and tactical recon using a photographer in the third seat fitted to the SK 61 with the camera pointing through the opening lower part of the rear windows. This differed from the RAF version that had a fixed window. This will also be modelled with the "cameraman" present.
There will also be a ski version, these were used in the north of Sweden for pilot training by F5.
